Discover the history of the KOLONSKY brand, whose roots go back to the early 20th century.
The year 2009 brought a surprising discovery. During the renovation of a majestic tenement house at 42 Polna Street in Warsaw, a hiding place was found in its nooks and crannies, storing an ancient memoir that had stood the test of time, preserving secrets written in Latin and Cyrillic. The notes hinted at the ancient origin of the mysterious text, most likely before the First World War. Discover the history of the KOLONSKY brand, whose roots go back to the early 20th century.
Although our attention was initially focused on restoring the architectural monument, we could not resist learning about the secrets hidden in the found diary. After a decade of research, we were able to establish that these were recipes for unique fragrance compositions.
We did not allow such a valuable discovery to remain in oblivion. In the spirit of respect for tradition and out of love for the unique world of fragrances, we turned to a Polish master perfume maker.
Thanks to her virtuosity, we managed to bring back this noble and unique range of fragrances under the name KOLONSKY to the world and encapsulate it in a bottle.
Given the precious and unique nature of the found memoire, with its unique records of the recipes of the fragrance compositions, the decision was made to secure and deposit it in one of the banks in Basel.
